Legends
The Legend of Gilgamesh is probably one of the first legends you've read in English. Your history teacher told you about it and we also worked on it to know more about legends. We are also reading the story of King Arthur in class and we've talked about the basic elements of this type of text. Here you are a link to an amusing legend which tells the story of a red dragon. This legends is about the animals they saw different. One day the Red Dragon said it would end the world and all the animals except the tiger and the lion got into the dragon's back. This started to fly, but because of the weight fell from the sky and became as they are now.

I think this legend is done in order to show some ideas of our ancestors.

I readed the legend of "The Red Dragon". I liked because explains the origin of the animals, like they arrived to be what are today.
